Spicy Thai Basil Chicken with Fried Rice



This Spicy Thai Basil Chicken smells great and tastes great. The Thai basil gives it the perfect balance of heat and savory flavors. It's a quick and easy meal that tastes great when served with fragrant fried rice.

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 red chilies, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce for fried rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for fried rice

Instructions:

Put vegetable oil in a large skillet and heat it over medium-high heat

When you add the minced garlic and sliced red chilies, saut until the food smells good

Cook the onion and bell pepper until they are soft

Add the chicken breast slices and cook until the chicken is no longer pink

Soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and chili flakes should all be mixed together in a small bowl

Add it to the chicken mix and mix it well

Stir in the fresh basil leaves until they wilt

For the fried rice, heat vegetable oil over medium heat in a different pan

To make it cook, add beaten eggs and scramble them

Stir-fry the soy sauce and cooked rice until everything is hot
